COLABORATORY: Taking stock as our first intern moves on
One intern down, two to go.

COLABORATORY was designed to move at a break-neck pace shooting each intern through three agencies on a two-week rotation. Even knowing this, I'm shocked at how fast Allison's time at Ascentium went. At least we took the time to mark the occasion with a team lunch.

Allison proved herself to be extremely self-motivated, outgoing and reliable. She is a natural leader and has done amazing things driving her group, Lattice, forward in their research and planning for Sameunderneath. I don't have any proof to point you to yet - it's all stuff that's gone on behind the scenes. But four weeks from now, I'll be the first to blow the lid off their great work.

Ascentium brings something unique to COLABORATORY because of our integrated approach to marketing and technology - and Allison took full advantage of our expertise in a number of one-on-one interviews with different employees. She's already posted videos of our CRM guru Christopher Bates and one of Mason West (a.k.a. Me), with a few more on the way.

(Side note: Do you know how much will power it takes to link to videos of yourself? Then again, if Allison could post something like this, I think I owe it to her.)

Allison - you've done an amazing job and have a bright future in this business. Thank you for your hard work at Ascentium and your continued work making COLABORATORY an amazing experience.

To that point, I thought I'd close out our first rotation by showcasing some of the amazing work and stories the other interns have to share:

Copywriter Bryan Davidson's commercial cameo at Grady Britton.

Designer Christine Vo's wrap up from The New Group.

A hilarious video about living back in "The 'Burro" by copywriter Megan Nuttall.

Mary McPherson's thoughtful reflection on two weeks at Fish Marketing.
