Ascentium Takes “Best in Show” Honors Winning Three 2007 W3 Web Site Design Awards

BELLEVUE, Wash.—October 22, 2007—Ascentium Corporation, a leading interactive marketing and technology consulting firm, announced today that the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) honored the company as a winner of three W3 awards in outstanding Web design and development. Ascentium won Best in Show in the Computer/IT: Software category and Gold in the Consumer Goods category for Web excellence in the design of the persona-driven, video and Flash Web site for Microsoft Vista Innovation Café. The company captured another Gold Award in the Art category for the world-renown photographer Art Wolfe with the visually stunning Web site, Art Wolfe: Travels to the Edge.

Best in Show selections represent the highest mark of distinction and are also selected by the Academy based on scoring. Judges award Best in Show honors to only the top one percent of all work entered. Less than 10 percent of all entries are selected as Gold Winners. In its second year the W³ Awards received over 2,700 entries.
